Here We Go Again?

Trying to get motivated again. Looks like it's been almost two years since I posted anything. Not much, if anything, has happened in that time to make things better around here. The only thing I have going for me is that the kids are getting older, and hopefully that will make things better/easier/more productive around here. We all need a retraining period, I think.

Ali has come up with a schedule, all on her own, for some chores she can do around the house. Maybe it's because a couple weeks ago I actually posted my chorelists in the hallway, in hopes that I can stay on task better.  Worked for a week or two, then things fell apart again for me. Right now, Ali is cleaning the powder room as part of her self-authored chore list. If she keeps this up, I'll have to re-write my lists!

I started reading an eBook today about procrastinating. We will see how it turns out. Spring Break starts on Saturday, and Ali and I have plans to clean her room--again. Hoping, hoping, hoping this time around the improvements become permanent, and we can both move on to bigger and better things! This time I will take before pictures of the horrifying mess.
